Tina Divjak
Deputy Commissioner
Tina Divjak was born in 1981 in Maribor. She graduated as a lawyer in 2005 and passed the Judicial Exam in 2009.
She has worked in the non-governmental sector for almost twenty years. From November 2005 to September 2009, she was Head of Environment and NGO Activities at the NGO Legal Information Centre - PIC, now called the Legal Centre for the Protection of Human Rights and the Environment. From October 2009 to July 2024, she worked as Head of Advocacy and Deputy Director at the Centre for Information, Cooperation and Development of NGOs.
The main focus of her work was public participation in decision-making and public funding processes. She has written a number of manuals in these areas and trained officials at home and abroad. These are two areas that closely overlap with the work or the various institutions (transparency, integrity, avoidance of conflicts of interest) that fall within the remit of the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption. She specialises in organisational development (transparency and integrity in organisational development, business process development) and is a lead auditor for ISO 9001 and the NGO Model Quality Standard.
